Raj Puni

Raj has been playing the drums since the age of twelve whilst attending Little Heath School in Reading.

Playing in a functions band ‘Jack in the Jukebox’ and the percussion group ‘L’esprit du tambour’, led by his drum teacher, has given Raj a lot of experience in many different styles of music including Rock, Pop, Funk, Samba and Blues. Raj is also fully trained Audio engineer and Currently, regularly touring all over the UK with his band Morass of Molasses.

Raj says “I was very shy as a young boy. Learning to play the drums gave me the confidence to believe in myself and come out of my shell whilst doing something I really enjoy. I’m looking forward to helping The Rock Project students have a similar experience.”
