Andy Stephens

At the age of 16, inspired by the DIY attitude of the punk bands of the late 70s, Andy bought a guitar, learnt 3 chords and started a band.

Since then he has worked hard learning the styles of his various influences (Classic Rock, Punk, New Wave, Indie) and developing an understanding of music in order to become what he considers a “proper” guitarist.

Largely self taught, Andy has a wealth of live experience playing both original material and covers in a number of genres. He currently sings and plays guitar in 2 local cover bands.

Andy has a love of teaching and firmly believes that anyone can learn an instrument if they put the work in.
